The City of Montgomery, Alabama is seeking bids for mosquito chemicals, specifically targeting mosquito growth regulators and surface films. The goal of this contract is to provide effective mosquito control solutions to the city's Street Maintenance Department.

Work Details

The contract includes the supply of various mosquito chemicals as follows: 1. Mosquito Growth Regulators: - Altosid Briquets (150 days) with 7% Methoprene, 93% other ingredients. - Altosid 4% Pellets (30 days) with 4.25% Methoprene, 95.75% other ingredients. - Altosid XR with 2.1% Methoprene, 97.9% other ingredients. - Natular 30-Day Tablet with 8.33% Spinosad, 91.67% other ingredients. - Natular XRT with 6.25% Spinosad, 93.75% other ingredients. 2. Surface Films: - CocoBear with 10% Mineral Oil, 90% other ingredients. 3. Adult Mosquito Control: - Mosquitomist One U.L.V with 13.624% Chlorpyrifos. - Biomist 4x4 U.L.V with Permethrin and Piperonyl Butoxide.

Period of Performance

The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of award, with options to renew for up to two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the City of Montgomery Street Maintenance Department.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a City Business License if they have a physical location in Montgomery or deliver goods into the city on their own vehicle. Additionally, vendors must provide liability insurance and comply with E-Verify enrollment as per the Beason-Hammon Act.
