Summary: Background The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking immediate and emergency Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) remediation services for the Administration and Laboratory Buildings at the Sugarcane Field Station located in Canal Point, Florida. The goal of this contract is to ensure a safe and healthy indoor environment by addressing mold and mildew presence within the HVAC system and on interior surfaces while maintaining operations in occupied facilities. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, containment systems, engineering controls, tools, and transportation necessary to perform IAQ remediation. Key tasks include: 1. Installation of containment systems to prevent cross-contamination. 2. Protection of all interior contents using plastic sheeting of no less than 4-mil thickness. 3. HEPA vacuuming of walls, ceilings, floors, vents, registers, and all accessible surfaces to remove dust and mold spores. 4. Application of EPA-registered antimicrobial agents to hard surfaces including walls and HVAC grilles. 5. Building disinfection using approved fogging or spray systems. 6. Hot thermal fog deodorization following disinfection to eliminate odors. 7. HVAC remediation tasks including cleaning supply and return ductwork, HEPA vacuuming duct interiors, cleaning air handler components, and resealing HVAC access points to original condition. Period of Performance The work is expected to be completed within 30 days after award. Place of Performance Canal Point, Florida. Bidder Requirements This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience in similar remediation projects completed within the last five years for federal, state or university customers.
