The City of Chattanooga is seeking separate sealed bids for the construction project involving the removal and replacement of the roofs on the Fire Station #1 Garage with an insulated TPO roof. This includes insulation, coverboard to meet the 2018 IBC, gutters, downspouts, flashing, trim, penetration boots, and other necessary materials and labor, along with a 20-year NDL warranty. Additionally, spot repair or full replacement of the roof decking and framing system will be performed as directed. Cleaning and painting of exposed structural steel, as well as selected repairs or improvements to existing masonry and steel building components, are also part of the scope of work. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. local time, located at 218 E Main St, Chattanooga, TN 37405. All bidders must be licensed and comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act. Contract Documents can be examined at the City of Chattanooga Purchasing Department, located at 101 E. 11th Street, Suite G13, Chattanooga, TN 37402. They may be purchased for a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per set by check made out to the City of Chattanooga. Prior to mailing the check, a scanned copy can be emailed to bidinfo@chattanooga.gov, and the requested bid documents will then be emailed. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the same location where they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
