Landscape Equipment Repair and Maintenance

Background

The City of Pasadena, through its Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services - Parks Division, is seeking a vendor to provide general landscape equipment repair and maintenance services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of various landscape equipment used by the city. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price submitted by responsive bidders, with pricing valid from July 2026 to June 2027.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the following landscape equipment: Chainsaws, Hedge Trimmers, Edgers, Leaf Blowers, Weed Eaters, and Lawn Mowers. Specific tasks include tune-ups, cleaning carburetors, spark plug replacements, air filter cleaning/replacement, sharpening blades, installing new blades, and other necessary repairs. Pricing must include both materials and labor for all line items listed in the bid proposal.

Period of Performance

The contract is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026, and conclude on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the City of Pasadena. Vendors must have a local warehouse within 50 miles of Pasadena City Limits for equipment drop-off and pick-up.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit pricing for all line items to be considered responsive. Incomplete bids will be ruled unresponsive. Vendors are required to comply with the City's Equal Employment Opportunity Practices Provisions and may need to provide documentation evidencing compliance during the contract term.
