CIP Project Management Support Services - Task Orders

Background

The County of Orange, which includes 22 agencies and departments along with the Orange County Flood Control District, provides a variety of services to its residents, including public protection, health services, infrastructure maintenance, and community support. The OC Public Works department is tasked with enhancing community welfare through effective public works infrastructure management. This solicitation aims to establish a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for Architect-Engineer (A-E) services to support various maintenance and capital projects across the County and District. The contracts resulting from this RFQ will be awarded by the Board of Supervisors for a term of three years, with the possibility of issuing new solicitations thereafter to allow additional contractors to compete for future services.

Work Details

The selected firms will provide A-E and related services on an as-needed basis for various projects. Services include but are not limited to: project management support, design assessments, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction administration services, coordination with regulatory agencies, and project closeout services. Respondents will be required to prepare detailed Scope Statements for each task order that outlines specific work requirements, costs, and timelines. They must also ensure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Period of Performance

The contract will have a performance period of three years from the date of award.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within Orange County, California.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must possess a valid Civil Engineer license in California and preferably hold Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute. They should have at least three years of experience conducting similar work in California's public sector capital improvement programs.
