Maintenance, Testing and Inspection of Night Vision Goggles

Background

The County of Orange, Sheriff-Coroner is seeking competitive bids for the Maintenance, Testing, and Inspection of Night Vision Goggles. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of night vision equipment used by the Sheriff-Coroner's office. Bidders are expected to review all provided information and seek clarifications as necessary before submitting their bids.

Work Details

The contract includes the following services: 1. Maintenance and inspection of L3 Harris – ANVIS-9 M949 Night Vision Aviator Goggles (both White and Green Phosphorus). 2. Routine testing and inspection services for the goggles. 3. Repair services outside of routine inspections, including parts at a not-to-exceed cost with written quotes required. 4. Provision of specific parts such as Night Vision Goggle Quick Disconnect Mount (P/N 271073-2), Rugged Aviation Quick Disconnect Mount, and MX-10160 Tube, Aviation Grade.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and will be valid until June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at designated locations within Orange County, California.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must hold a valid California State Contractor’s License and comply with Local Small Business (OCLSB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) certification requirements if applicable. They must also provide proof of insurance, a W-9 form, and meet any other specified qualifications outlined in the solicitation.
