The Municipality of Anchorage, through its Purchasing Department, is seeking bids for Summer Hauling Services to support the Public Works Department. This contract aims to provide essential hauling services for various materials within the Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area (MOA/ARDSA). Work Details

The contractor will provide hauling services using Side Dump Trailers and End-Dump Trucks equipped with operators. Specific requirements include: - **Side Dump Trailers**: Minimum capacity of 22 to 26 cubic yards, equipped with CB radios, available on call with a 12-hour notice. A minimum of four trucks must be guaranteed. - **End-Dump Trucks**: Minimum capacity of twelve cubic yards, also equipped with operators, with a guarantee of six trucks available. - All equipment must be 1995 or newer and comply with safety standards. The contractor is responsible for scheduling equipment at least 12 hours in advance and may be required to submit an equipment list for inspection within five days after bid opening. - The contractor will be paid based on actual hours worked, with a minimum billing period established for scheduled shifts.
