Background

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is seeking waste disposal services for the Lubbock State Supported Living Center (SSLC). The mission of DFPS is to protect children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and compliant waste disposal services that meet environmental regulations.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive waste disposal services including: - Collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste generated by the Lubbock SSLC. - Management of hazardous waste in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. - Provision of all necessary containers for waste collection. - Regularly scheduled pickups as agreed upon in the contract. - Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for a period of 12 months from the date of award, with options to renew for up to two additional 12-month periods.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center located in Lubbock, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
