Background

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking plumbing services for the Lubbock State Supported Living Center (SSLC). The mission of the Lubbock SSLC is to provide quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all plumbing systems within the facility are maintained, repaired, and upgraded as necessary to provide a safe and functional environment for residents and staff.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive plumbing services, which include but are not limited to: - Installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances. - Responding to emergency plumbing issues within a specified response time. - Conducting regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they become critical. - Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations. - Providing detailed reports on work performed, including any recommendations for future maintenance or repairs.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the date of award, with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

All services will be performed at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center located in Lubbock, Texas.
