Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation 2026 within Memorial Hills Utility District

Background

The Memorial Hills Utility District, located in Harris County, Texas, is issuing a contract for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation 2026 project. The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate the sanitary sewer system within the district to ensure efficient wastewater management and infrastructure integrity.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: 1. Sanitary sewer rehabilitation involving obstruction/grease removal, CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) lining, and post-cleaning/televising of sanitary sewer lines. 2. Manhole rehabilitation consisting of inner manhole wall repairs and manhole ring removal/replacement. Specific tasks include: - 8" Cured-In-Place-Pipe Sanitary Sewer Rehab (1,600 LF) - 10" Cured-In-Place-Pipe Sanitary Sewer Rehab (1,010 LF) - Traffic Control Plan for local street closures - Site restoration to equal or better condition (includes fence replacement and sodding) - Post cleaning & televising of all repaired & CIPP sanitary sewer lines for verification of work - Manhole ring removal and replacement (2 EA) - Manhole inner wall repairs/rehabilitation (7 EA). Additional work items may include extra lengths of CIPP, obstruction removal, bypass pumping, and heavy grease removal at designated locations.

Period of Performance

The contractor must commence work within ten (10) calendar days after receiving the written Notice to Proceed and achieve Substantial Completion within a specified number of calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed within the Memorial Hills Utility District in Harris County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a bid bond or certified check for at least 2% of the total bid amount as a guarantee. They are required to submit Certificates of Insurance and performance bonds upon award. Bidders must also complete TEC Form 1295 as required by Texas Government Code § 2252.908.
