Annual On-Site Electrical Test Equipment Calibration Services FY27

Background

The City of Pasadena Water and Power Department (PWP) Power Delivery Division is seeking a vendor to provide annual on-site calibration services for electrical test equipment. This contract aims to ensure that the electrical test equipment used by the department is accurately calibrated and compliant with relevant standards, thereby supporting the operational efficiency and safety of the power delivery services.

Work Details

The selected vendor will perform on-site calibration services for a variety of electrical and diagnostic test equipment during Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27). The calibration services must be completed at the City Yards facility located at 311 W. Mountain Street, Pasadena, CA 91103. Specific tasks include: - Providing calibration services for the full inventory of items listed in this IFB. - Performing all calibrations on-site. - Coordinating directly with the ET&C Supervisor to develop a calibration schedule. - Completing the majority of calibrations in a single scheduled visit or trip, with justification required for multiple visits. - Furnishing all necessary tools, standards, labor, and calibration certificates for each piece of equipment serviced. - Ensuring all calibrations are traceable to NIST standards and meet applicable ANSI/NCSL Z540 or ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Period of Performance

The contract is scheduled to start on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

All work will be performed at the City Yards facility located at 311 W. Mountain Street, Pasadena, CA 91103.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate experience with governmental agencies through two projects/contracts of similar scope and size. They are required to submit a completed Relevant Experience Form with their proposal. Additionally, compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity practices is mandated as per Chapter 4.08 of the Pasadena Municipal Code.
