Background

The City of Marina is seeking qualified consulting teams and individual consultants to provide architectural, engineering, planning, and various other professional services. This initiative aims to facilitate the implementation of the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and review development projects. The selected firms will be recommended to the City Council for approval of professional services agreements with an initial term of two years, with an option to extend for one additional year.

Work Details

Consultants will provide expertise in several service areas including: 1) **Architecture** - tasks include facility remodels, building condition assessments, site selection, feasibility studies, renderings, life cycle cost estimates, public outreach, and final design plans. 2) **Planning Services** - tasks include contract planning, project management, general plan updates, zoning ordinance rewrites, CEQA documents preparation, and on-site monitoring during construction. 3) **Environmental Services** - tasks include project site surveys for archaeological and biological assessments and regulatory agency permitting. 4) **Civil Engineering** - tasks include project management, design surveys, environmental permitting, structural analysis and design. 5) **Landscape Architecture** - tasks include parks condition assessments and playground equipment inspections. Each firm must submit a separate Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for each service area they wish to provide services for.

Period of Performance
