Background

The Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure Shredding Services for multiple DJS locations. The goal of this contract is to ensure secure and efficient shredding of documents at various facilities operated by DJS.

Work Details

The contractor will provide shredding services at the following locations: - Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center (BCJJC)

Victor Cullen Center

- Charles Hickey Jr. Shelter Care Program - Cheltenham Youth Detention Center. Services include bi-weekly pickups of documents for shredding using specified bins: 65 Gallon Bins and Standard Consoles. The quantities for each location are as follows: - BCJJC Detention (12 bins) - BCJJC Building Administration (1 bin) - BCJJC Community Office (13 consoles) - Southern Office Community Detention (3 consoles) - Victor Cullen Center (5 bins) - Charles Hickey Jr. Shelter Care Program (15 bins) - Cheltenham Youth Detention Center (38 bins). The contract spans three years with pricing required for each year.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of three years with bi-weekly pickups scheduled throughout this timeframe.
