Summary: Background The project is initiated by the Amarillo Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Care Facility, which aims to renovate a men's restroom in Building 28 Main Hospital. The goal of the contract is to enhance the facility's restroom by updating its fixtures and finishes, thereby improving the overall environment for patients and staff. Work Details The scope of work includes: - Renovating a 250 square feet men's restroom. - Replacing wall tiles up to 4 feet from the floor. - Replacing floor tiles. - Replacing ceiling tiles and light fixtures. - Replacing partitions and countertops. - Installing mirrors, urinals, toilet bowls, and other fixtures. - Ensuring all materials are new, free from defects, and asbestos-free. - Demolition tasks including removal of existing wall tiles, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, partitions, countertops, mirrors, urinals, and toilet bowls. - Installation tasks including new wall tiles, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, energy-efficient light fixtures, partitions accommodating three stalls (including one handicap), countertops, mirrors above sinks, urinals, and toilet bowls with proper plumbing compliance. Period of Performance The work shall be completed within sixty (60) days of receiving the Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the Amarillo Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Care Facility located at 6010 W Amarillo Blvd, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
