Background

The Department is seeking to enhance the skills of its engineering and landscape architecture staff through practical, applied training in project management and supervisory skills. This initiative aims to improve communication, coordination, prioritization, decision-making, and supervisory effectiveness among staff responsible for managing capital improvement projects that utilize consultant-provided engineering design services within a public-sector context. The training program is designed to support both project managers and supervisory personnel, focusing on real-world applications relevant to current workplace challenges.

Bidder Requirements

Applicants must meet the Local Business Entity or Local Impact criteria as outlined in Mayoral Executive Order No. 04-12, which includes maintaining a valid Commercial Activity License, conducting business within the City for at least the past 12 months, and employing City residents during contract performance.
