Airport Wide Pest Management

Background

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW Airport) is seeking proposals for a service provider to perform Airport Wide Pest Management services. The goal of this contract is to implement an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program that ensures long-term, environmentally sound pest control at the airport facilities. The contract will last for a five-year period without options for renewal.

Work Details

The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, training, technical services, materials, equipment, and chemicals necessary for the execution of pest management services. Key components of the work include: 1. **Integrated Pest Management Program**: Implementing strategies such as structural modifications to reduce pest access, using low-hazard pesticide compounds, and employing non-pesticide technologies like trapping. 2. **Inspections**: Regular inspections to monitor pest populations and environmental conditions. 3. **Rodent Control**: Comprehensive rodent control around all facilities including outbuildings. 4. **Charge Reimbursable Services**: Responding to specific pest issues such as bees, spiders, and termites on an as-needed basis with prior approval from DFW Airport. 5. **Emergency Services**: Capability to respond to emergency pest situations within specified timeframes. 6. **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintaining records of inspections and treatments, submitting monthly and annual reports on pest management activities.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a five-year period starting from the date of award.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport facilities identified in the contract documents.

Bidder Requirements

The Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. There are no specific set-aside certifications required for this contract.
