Janitorial Services for Fannin County

Background

Fannin County is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for janitorial services for various owned and leased facilities. The goal of the contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of ten specific facilities, which include the Fannin County Courthouse and other county offices. The Commissioners Court of Fannin County reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals, aiming to select a contractor whose proposal is deemed most advantageous based on price and quality of service.

Work Details

The contractor will provide janitorial services for ten facilities, including: 1) Fannin County Courthouse, 2) Derrell Hall Education Center, 3) South Annex (District Court and Tag Office), 4) District Clerk’s offices, 5) East Annex, 6) County Clerk and District Attorney’s office, 7) Justice of the Peace Pct.3 - Windom Building, 8) Sheriff’s Office, 9) Justice of the Peace PCT 2 – Leonard, and 10) Fannin County Justice Center. Services include daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping entry areas, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, disinfecting restrooms, and emptying waste receptacles. Weekly tasks include cleaning glass surfaces and dusting furniture. Monthly tasks involve deep cleaning desks and light fixtures. The contractor must also provide all necessary cleaning materials compatible with building materials.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be for a period of twelve (12) months beginning August 1, 2026, and ending July 31, 2027. The contract may be extended for additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various locations in Fannin County, Texas including Bonham and surrounding areas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate qualifications including experience in janitorial services with references from similar contracts. They must provide proof of insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation insurance. A bid bond or cashier's check for five percent (5%) of the total amount bid is required. All employees must pass background checks prior to working at county facilities.
