Capacity, Management, Operations, And Maintenance (CMOM) Improvements Work Package 1

Background

The San Antonio River Authority is seeking bids for the Capacity, Management, Operations, and Maintenance (CMOM) Improvements Work Package 1. The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate and/or replace approximately 6,000 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer gravity main in Bexar County. The budget for the base bid for this project is $3.8 million.

Work Details

The awarded contractor will be responsible for the rehabilitation and replacement of existing sanitary sewer segments using a combination of pipe bursting and open cut methods. The work must comply with all specifications outlined in the solicitation documents, including plans, specifications, general conditions, supplementary conditions, special provisions, addenda, and contract forms. The contractor must examine all relevant documents before submitting a bid to ensure compliance with the requirements.

Period of Performance

The period of performance will be defined in the contract documents but will generally commence upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed from the River Authority.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed within the right of way (ROW) in Bexar County.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all local laws and regulations. They are required to submit performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the contract price. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance as specified in the contract documents.
