Barlow Community Center Pedestrian Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Project

Background

The Barlow Community Center Pedestrian Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Project is initiated by the City of Hudson, Ohio. The project aims to enhance community infrastructure by replacing one pedestrian bridge over an unnamed stream at Barlow Community Center and rehabilitating two pedestrian bridges near the Hudson Fire Station. Work Details

The proposed work includes: 1. Replacement of one pedestrian bridge over an unnamed stream located at Barlow Community Center, 41 S. Oviatt Street. 2. Rehabilitation of two pedestrian bridges situated near the Hudson Fire Station, 40 S. Oviatt Street. The specifications for the work are available in the office of the City Engineer and must adhere to ODOT Construction and Material Specifications unless otherwise noted.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the Agreement, with substantial completion and final payment dates set forth therein.

Place of Performance

The project will be performed at Barlow Community Center, 41 S. Oviatt Street, and near Hudson Fire Station, 40 S. Oviatt Street, in the City of Hudson, Ohio.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the Bid Express website. Each bid must include bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit amounting to 10% of the bid payable to the City of Hudson. Additionally, bidders must be registered with Bid Express and provide evidence of their qualifications to perform the work.
