Nissan Altima Purchase

Background

Gulf Bend Center (GBC) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and an agency of the State of Texas, responsible for planning, coordinating, developing policy, and ensuring the provision of community-based mental health and intellectual and developmental disability services. GBC operates under Chapter 534 of the Texas Health and Safety Code and is classified as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The Center serves a seven-county region in Texas, including Victoria, Jackson, Calhoun, Refugio, Goliad, DeWitt, and Lavaca Counties.

Work Details

GBC is requesting bids from qualified vendors to purchase one (1) new 2025 or 2026 Nissan Altima. The preferred colors for the vehicle are white or silver. Bidders must provide a signed Bid Sheet along with any additional necessary information. All bids must meet the intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB). Vehicles supplied under this contract will be subject to GBC’s approval; any defective vehicles or those not meeting specifications must be replaced by the successful bidder at no expense to GBC. Delivery of the vehicle should be made to 6502 Nursery Drive, Victoria, Texas unless local; all delivery and freight charges may be included in the bid price.

Period of Performance

The deadline for bid submissions is by 5 PM on June 19, 2026. The vehicle must be delivered no later than July 10, 2026.

Place of Performance

The delivery location for the vehicle is 6502 Nursery Drive Ste 100, Victoria, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must sign and date the Bid Sheet and return it with their proposal. Bids submitted without the Bid Sheet may be rejected. As a 501(c)(3), GBC is exempt from Federal excise tax and Texas sales and use tax; therefore, sales tax should not be included in the bid. Late bids will be rejected.
