Easterly Fire Alarm System Replacement

Work Requested

The project involves the replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new, comprehensive plant-wide fire alarm system at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and the Easterly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station. The scope of work includes: - Installation of a new horn-strobe fire alarm system - Provision and installation of all necessary devices, wiring, raceways, pull boxes, control panels, alarms, supervisory signal devices, alarm notification appliances, and related accessories - Implementation of a new Onyx Works workstation in the Easterly WWTP security building for enhanced graphical visibility, alarming, and reporting - Configuration for system monitoring from the Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center security building to provide redundancy - Deployment of new remote cloud software to enable authorized District personnel to remotely view and track the fire alarm system

Background

The current fire alarm system at the Easterly WWTP and the Easterly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station requires replacement to ensure improved safety, monitoring, and reporting capabilities. The new system will enhance plant security and provide remote access and redundancy.

Contract Requirements

Contractors must provide all equipment, installation, and integration necessary for a fully functional fire alarm system, including the Onyx Works workstation, remote monitoring capabilities, and all associated devices and accessories.
