NMSU Press Box Renovations

Background

The New Mexico State University (NMSU) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the CMAR 5645 NMSU Press Box Renovations project. The goal of this contract is to engage a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to oversee and manage the renovation of the Press Box, ensuring that the project meets quality standards and is completed within budget and on schedule.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive construction management services, including but not limited to: 1. Preconstruction services including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. 2. Coordination with NMSU's Procurement Services for all procurement processes. 3. Management of construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. 4. Closeout procedures including final inspections and documentation. 5. Engagement with local subcontractors and suppliers as part of the project execution strategy.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence on June 1, 2026, and conclude upon completion of the renovation project, which is expected to be finalized by June 19, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at New Mexico State University, specifically at the Press Box facility located on campus.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid CID License issued by the State of New Mexico and provide evidence of bonding capacity of not less than $21,750,000 for single projects. Additionally, bidders are required to have active registration with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions for Public Works projects.
