Mark Twain NF Beaver Lake Dam Rehabilitation

Summary: Background The Mark Twain National Forest is issuing this contract for the rehabilitation of the Beaver Lake Dam. The primary mission of this project is to ensure the structural integrity and functionality of the dam by addressing critical issues such as water level management, erosion control, and infrastructure repair. The goal of the contract is to enhance safety and operational efficiency through comprehensive construction tasks. Work Details The scope of work includes: 1. Drawing down water levels as necessary; 2. Clearing and grubbing the site; 3. Excavating and removing existing overflow conduit and appurtenances; 4. Repairing spillway erosion using riprap materials. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary for the successful completion of these tasks according to the contract specifications. Place of Performance The construction projects will take place at Beaver Lake Dam within the Mark Twain National Forest.
