Background The Indian Health Service is issuing this solicitation for Satellite TV Services for the Red Lake Hospital. The Red Lake Service Unit currently relies on cable services from a local telephone company, which has been inadequate due to the rural location of the hospital. The goal of this contract is to provide essential TV services that support direct inpatient care, educational information dissemination, patient satisfaction, and overall comfort. Work Details The contractor will provide Satellite TV Services, specifically utilizing DIRECTV or equivalent services for a total of 12 months for the base year and four additional option years. The contractor's responsibilities include: - Mounting the satellite dish on the roof using non-penetrating mounts. - Running backbone cabling from the dish to the main distribution point. - Taking over existing cabling distribution. - Installing a 23 Channel HD COM 3000 System with Transcoder connected to the existing coax distribution system.
