Summary: Background The Marine Corps Installations East Regional Contracting Office is seeking to secure commercial lodging services for 129 personnel in support of the America 250 Celebration during the Sail 250 commemorative events in Norfolk, Virginia. This solicitation is intended to provide lodging services from June 14 to June 23, 2026. Work Details The Contractor shall provide lodging rooms to accommodate staggered arrivals and departures as follows: - From June 14 to June 17, 2026: 1 Single Occupancy Room (for ADVON personnel) and 6 Double Occupancy Rooms. - From June 17 to June 22, 2026: 5 Single Occupancy Rooms and 62 Double Occupancy Rooms for full lodging block accommodating all personnel. - From June 22 to June 23, 2026: 1 Single Occupancy Room and 6 Double Occupancy Rooms for reduced lodging block for final personnel. Additional requirements include accommodating check-in/check-out times at noon EST, providing on-site parking for up to eight (8) vans, offering guest laundry facilities, and housekeeping services per standard commercial hotel policies. The contractor must also allow a potential decrease of up to ten percent (10%) in the total room block without penalty.
