Work Details

The contractor will provide standby ambulance life support units for all Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School football games. Key responsibilities include: - Providing at least one Paramedic and one Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Varsity events. - Providing two BLS EMTs for Junior Varsity and Middle School games. - Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding emergency medical services. - Providing one vehicle per game site equipped with necessary medical supplies. - Supplying communication devices (radios/walkie-talkies) for effective coordination with Athletic Trainers. - Arriving at least 15 minutes before kickoff and remaining until the stadium is cleared of spectators. - Maintaining trip/incident reports for all transports and providing an end-of-year summary report of life-threatening incidents by December 10 following the football season.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and continue through June 30, 2030, with five one-year renewal options available.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various football game sites within the Norfolk Public Schools district.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have been actively engaged in emergency medical services for at least two years. They must possess all required state licenses and certifications.
