The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation (JYF), an educational institution of the Commonwealth of Virginia, administers two living-history museums: Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. The foundation is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and aims to acquire new audio-visual equipment in preparation for scheduled replacements in late June 2026, coinciding with the 250th commemoration of the United States.
The contractor will furnish replacement audio-visual equipment for various locations at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown and Jamestown Settlement. The contractor must provide pricing for all equipment listed in Attachment A - AV Equipment List, including shipping, delivery, and handling costs. Specific requirements include: 1. Quoting exact specified items as identified by brand, make, and model; no substitutions allowed. 2. Providing manufacturer documentation, product data sheets, operating instructions, warranty information, schematic diagrams, and replacement parts lists. 3. Delivering equipment to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown by May 15, 2026. 4. Ensuring all shipments are FOB Destination with protective packaging as per manufacturer recommendations. 5. Providing a minimum three-year manufacturer's warranty on all equipment.
