Background

The College of Charleston is seeking to procure water-cooled heat pumps for the Liberty and George Street Apartments. The goal of this contract is to enhance the heating and cooling systems within these residential facilities, ensuring efficient climate control for residents.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following water-cooled heat pumps: 1. 3 units of 1.5 ton water cooled heat pump (Brand options: BOSCH, COMFORT-AIRE, TRANE, or CLIMATE-MASTER) 2. 9 units of 2.0 ton water cooled heat pump (Brand options: BOSCH, COMFORT-AIRE, TRANE, or CLIMATE-MASTER) 3. 8 units of 2.5 ton water cooled heat pump (Brand options: BOSCH, COMFORT-AIRE, TRANE, or CLIMATE-MASTER) 4. 1 unit of 4.0 ton water cooled heat pump (Brand options: BOSCH, COMFORT-AIRE, TRANE, or CLIMATE-MASTER) All products must be delivered by June 30, 2026.

Period of Performance

The contract period will extend until June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Liberty and George Street Apartments located in Charleston, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must register as a vendor on the College's Procurement Platform to access the solicitation documents. Additionally, if subcontracting is intended for more than 10% of the work, details regarding subcontractors must be provided. Bidders claiming SC Resident Vendor Preference must maintain an office in South Carolina.
