Traffic Count Collection Services

Background

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide statewide Traffic Count Collection Services across all forty-six counties in South Carolina. The goal of this contract is to collect, process, and report traffic data in compliance with SCDOT requirements and applicable industry standards.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the collection, processing, and reporting of traffic data, which includes Turning Movement Counts (TMCs). The services must adhere to SCDOT requirements and applicable industry standards. This contract aims to ensure accurate traffic data collection that supports transportation planning and infrastructure development.

Period of Performance

The estimated period of performance for the contract is from August 26, 2026, to August 25, 2031.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed statewide across all forty-six counties in South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must have a state vendor number to be eligible to submit an offer. Registration can be completed at www.procurement.sc.gov. Additionally, contractors must comply with the Clean Air Act and Federal Water Pollution Control Act for contracts exceeding $150,000.
