Luxury RVs

Background

The State of South Carolina, through its State Fiscal Accountability Authority and Office of State Procurement, is seeking bids on behalf of the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism. The goal of this contract is to procure luxury RVs that will be utilized as rental units in state parks, enhancing recreational opportunities for visitors.

Work Details

The contractor is required to provide five luxury RVs with the following specifications: - Each RV must be a park model cottage with a minimum living space of 398 sq/ft, accommodating 4-6 guests. - General dimensions: 12’ W x 44’ L x 14’ ¾” H (including porch). - Construction details include steel frame with black painted I beams, R-19 insulation in floors and ceilings, and exterior walls painted per customer specifications. - Interior must include a kitchen with appliances such as a 30” LP electric range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and quartz countertops. - Bathroom features must include a residential height toilet and a minimum 54” tub/shower. - Living areas should have ceiling fans and smoke detectors. - Utilities must include an LP tankless water heater and RV hookups. - Delivery and setup at Black River State Park located at 4313 Center Road, Georgetown, SC 29440 are required.

Period of Performance

The estimated period of performance for this contract is from July 13, 2026, to December 12, 2026.

Place of Performance

All work under this contract will be performed at Black River State Park located at 4313 Center Road, Georgetown, SC 29440.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have at least three years of experience providing RV model cottages to qualify for the award. Additionally, bidders are required to maintain a state vendor number to submit an offer.
