Inflatable Rentals

Background

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking qualified vendors to provide inflatable services as part of their recreational offerings. The goal of this contract is to enhance the university's event experiences through the provision of inflatable attractions, which are detailed in the Scope of Work outlined in Section 4.5 of the Request for Proposal (RFP).

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing inflatable services, which may include but are not limited to: delivery, setup, operation, and takedown of inflatable attractions. Specific requirements include ensuring all inflatables meet safety standards and are suitable for various events hosted by the university. The contractor must also provide necessary staffing for operation during events and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective upon execution and will continue for a specified term as outlined in the final agreement, with options for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will primarily be performed on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin, with potential off-campus events as required by the university.

Bidder Requirements

Proposers must demonstrate experience in providing similar inflatable services and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. They must maintain appropriate insurance coverage as specified in the agreement. Additionally, proposers are required to certify that they do not engage in discriminatory practices against firearm entities or energy companies and comply with Texas Government Code certifications regarding business practices.
