General Industrial Merchandise, Supplies, and Equipment

Background

Collin County Community College District (the 'District') is seeking competitive sealed bids to establish a term contract for the purchase of General Industrial Merchandise, Supplies, and Equipment on an as-needed basis. The goal of this contract is to provide a flexible, catalog-based source for commonly used operational, maintenance, and general-purpose goods across the District. This solicitation will replace IFB-4536 (General Retail Merchandise, Supplies, Equipment and Services) which ends July 31, 2026.

Work Details

The contract involves the procurement of various general industrial merchandise, supplies, and equipment as needed by the District. The District reserves the right to award based on the pricing of their top 20 items or the percentage discount that is deemed to be the best value. This may result in a multi-vendor award. The quantities mentioned do not constitute an order but are for comparison purposes only.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will continue until July 31, 2026, with potential renewals subject to mutual agreement between the District and the Vendor.

Place of Performance

The services and deliveries will be performed at various locations within Collin County Community College District.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all federal, state, county, and local laws concerning products/services/equipment/projects. Vendors must provide evidence of their ability to meet specifications and requirements outlined in the solicitation. Additionally, vendors must be registered in the District’s e-bidding system to receive notifications regarding this solicitation.
