Prima Deshecha Landfill Renewable Energy Preliminary Design

Background

The County of Orange, OC Waste & Recycling is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to affirm market conditions, illuminate development considerations, and create a path for placing a new renewable energy facility into operation by the end of 2030. The goal is to provide professional services for the Prima Deshecha Landfill Renewable Energy Preliminary Design.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing professional services as outlined in the Scope of Work (Attachment A). This includes thorough review and submission of all projects/services to the County, adherence to design criteria and standards set by the Director, preparation of a progress work schedule within five working days of receiving assignments, and regular meetings with County staff to review progress. The contractor must ensure that all work complies with applicable laws and standards.

Period of Performance

The contract term is yet to be determined but will commence upon award and continue until completion of the specified projects/services.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Prima Deshecha Landfill located in Orange County, California.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must meet minimum qualifications as specified in the RFP. The contractor must be registered with the State of California for specialized architectural-engineering services. Additionally, compliance with California Labor Code regarding employment practices is required.
