Background

The City of Gallup, New Mexico, is issuing this solicitation to procure a trailer-mounted diesel-driven centrifugal pump package. This equipment is intended for use in emergency response operations, bypass pumping, infrastructure maintenance, and other operational requirements. The scope of work is based on technical specifications derived from an industry reference proposal to establish minimum functional and performance requirements.

Work Details

The contractor shall furnish and deliver one (1) new trailer-mounted vacuum-assisted centrifugal pump that meets or exceeds the following specifications: 1. End suction centrifugal pump 2. Vacuum-assisted priming system 3. Minimum 13 CFM compressor 4. Venturi-type air/water separator 5. Heavy-duty flapper-type check valve 6. Mechanical seal with run-dry capability 7. Minimum 6-inch suction connection 8. Minimum 6-inch discharge connection 9. Minimum 12-inch impeller 10. Solids handling capability up to 3 inches 11. Tier 4 Final diesel engine with a minimum of 74 horsepower 12. Trailer-mounted steel frame with a minimum 85-gallon fuel capacity 13. Integrated lifting frame and single axle trailer 14. Engine block heater included. Accessories to be provided include: - 1 x 6" x 25' PVC Suction Hose - 1 x 6" x 40' Discharge Hose - 2 x 6" Flange x Groove Steel Adapters - 1 x 6" Groove x Male IPT Adapter - 1 x 6" Male Cam x FNPT Adapter - 2 x 6" Heavy-Duty Groove Couplers - 2 Float open assemblies with 50' Connectors. Delivery must be coordinated with the City’s representative and should occur within a four-week lead time after bid acceptance.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to last until approximately June 9, 2027, with potential for renewal for an additional three years at mutually agreeable prices.

Place of Performance

The equipment must be delivered FOB Destination to the City of Gallup, New Mexico.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a current City of Gallup Business License for the type of material or services required under this contract before work commences or a purchase order is issued. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation of materials.
