Background

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) is seeking a one-time purchase of fencing materials for the Oklahoma State Penitentiary located in McAlester, OK. This procurement aims to enhance the security and operational capabilities of the facility, aligning with ODOC's mission to ensure public safety and effective rehabilitation.

Work Details

The contract involves the provision of various fencing materials necessary for the construction and maintenance of secure perimeters at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. Specific items required include but are not limited to: - chain link fencing - barbed wire - fence posts - gates - related hardware. The bid response must reflect pricing for each item listed on Exhibit 1 – Pricing.

Period of Performance

The contract will be executed as a one-time purchase with delivery expected upon completion of the procurement process, specifically by June 11, 2026.

Place of Performance

All products will be delivered to the Oklahoma State Penitentiary located at 1301 N. West Street, McAlester, OK 74502.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific requirements including registration with the Oklahoma Secretary of State prior to contract award. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of compliance with the Oklahoma Administrative Workers’ Compensation Act and may need to submit a Certificate of Insurance. Bidders claiming service-disabled veteran status must provide certification and verification documents.
