Background The 633rd Contracting Squadron (ACC) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the carpet replacement requirement under the AFFCC Carpet II Program. The goal of the contract is to replace carpet in Building 1302, 2nd Floor D and C Wings, including Room 243 at Langley AFB, VA. The program requires Tier II installers to procure all carpet materials from designated Tier I manufacturers. Work Details The contractor shall provide all non-personal services necessary to furnish labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to remove existing flooring and install new carpet. The contractor will also lift or remove furniture as needed. The specific requirements include: - Selection of one of the seven approved carpet options from Tier I manufacturers. - Submission of a quote listing the carpet and adhesive price per square foot for verification against Tier I NTE pricing. - Removal or lifting of existing furniture before demolition and reinstallation after flooring installation. - If required, moving IT equipment.
