The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), James River Reserve Fleet (JRRF) is seeking to solicit a dehumidification system. Issuance of a firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated for service and material to perform this work in accordance with specifications in the Statement of Work (SOW). Quoters are to submit pricing for all materials to deliver on the vendor price sheet.

Background The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), James River Reserve Fleet (JRRF) is seeking to procure a dehumidification system. This solicitation is part of the Revolutionary Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, aiming to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order for the necessary service and materials as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Work Details The contractor shall provide one (1) Munters Model HCD-600-EA-SFS High-Capacity Desiccant Dehumidification System, which must utilize a HoneyCombe® desiccant wheel and be configured with Electric Activation (EA). The salient characteristics include: - Dimensions & Configuration: Must utilize the SFS (Small Frame System) configuration for specific shipboard installation. - Performance: Nominal process airflow of 600 SCFM with a moisture removal capacity of at least 16 lbs/hr at standard inlet conditions (75°F / 50% RH). - Construction: Marine-grade, corrosion-resistant aluminum cabinet with a NEMA 4 rated control enclosure. - Integration: Must be compatible with existing PLC monitoring protocols currently utilized by the fleet.
