Background

The Massachusetts Municipal Police is seeking to procure a comprehensive VR training system, specifically the Operator XR VR Training System, to enhance law enforcement training capabilities. The goal of the contract is to provide software, hardware, support services, and training that meet the requirements outlined in ITS75 and ITC73.

Work Details

The contract includes the following products and services: - 16 complete OP-2 VR Training Systems for 2 officers each, including software licenses for 2 users and hardware for 2 users per system. - Total cost for OP-2 VR Training Systems: $651,840.00 (16 units at $40,740.00 each). - Role Player Headsets for 16 users with software licenses at $12,000.00 each totaling $192,000.00. - Support Service Agreement covering corrective, preventative, perfective maintenance and online help desk support for an annual fee of $96,640.00 for 2 years totaling $193,280.00. - On-site training for up to 4 customer participants over an 8-hour period at a cost of $2,500.00 per session totaling $7,500.00 for 3 sessions. - All necessary training materials will be supplied as part of the contract.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon receipt of the customer purchase order and is expected to be delivered within 90 days from confirmation of the order.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the Massachusetts Municipal Police located at 42 Thomas Patten Dr., Randolph, MA 02368.
