Decedent Transport/Scene Removal

Background

The University of New Mexico (UNM) and the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) are seeking proposals for the transportation of decedents across various regions in the State of New Mexico. The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and respectful transport services in accordance with the needs of the OMI.

Work Details

The scope of work includes transportation services that may involve: 1. Transporting decedents from holding locations to OMI in Albuquerque, including return transport when required. 2. Transporting decedents from a death scene to the OMI. 3. Transporting decedents from a death scene to a holding facility. The specific transportation needs will vary by region, as detailed in the attached Scope of Work document.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and continue until all services are fulfilled as per the requirements outlined in the solicitation.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed throughout various regions in the State of New Mexico, specifically involving transport to and from designated locations such as holding facilities and the Office of the Medical Investigator in Albuquerque.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must review and accept attached insurance requirements, sign and upload a Conflict of Interest Form, and complete a Submittal Form. Additionally, bidders must provide documentation for any applicable business certifications, including Resident Business or Native American Resident Business Certification for eligibility for residential preference.
