Houston County Flint Building Interior Renovation

Background

The Houston County School District is issuing a solicitation for the interior renovation of the Flint Building located at 900 State Route 96, Warner Robins, GA. The project aims to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the existing two-story building through comprehensive renovations. The estimated cost for this project is approximately $4,000,000.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: - Selective demolition - Installation of new stud walls, doors, and hardware - Cabinetry installation - Replacement of interior finishes - Mechanical system replacement - Plumbing system replacement - Electrical upgrades - Low voltage system replacement - Various site improvements including asphalt removal and replacement. The contract will be awarded as a General Contract covering all trades involved in the renovation.

Period of Performance

The successful bidder is expected to begin procuring materials upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed, estimated to be around July 8, 2026. Work should commence shortly thereafter and must be completed by February 1, 2027.

Bidder Requirements
