Work Requested

The City of Charlotte and Participating Agencies are seeking qualified vendors to provide National Institute of Justice (NIJ) compliant body armor for sworn Law Enforcement Personnel. The contract work includes: - Supplying new, unused body armor that meets or exceeds applicable NIJ standards - Providing sizing and fitting services for law enforcement personnel - Ensuring delivery of the equipment in accordance with the requirements of the City of Charlotte and Participating Agencies Who is Requesting: This solicitation is issued by the City of Charlotte and Participating Agencies.

Background

The objective of this contract is to ensure that law enforcement officers are equipped with the most reliable and modern protective gear available. All products supplied must meet or exceed NIJ standards and warranty requirements.

Contract Requirements

Vendors must provide: - Body armor that is new and unused - Products that comply with or surpass NIJ standards - Appropriate warranties as required - Sizing and fitting services - Timely delivery as specified by the City of Charlotte and Participating Agencies
