Background The contract is issued by the 71st EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) team to outfit a non-tactical vehicle for emergency response in various terrains and weather conditions. The goal is to procure and install aftermarket automotive accessories that will assist in loading, securing, and transporting both unclassified and classified equipment necessary for EOD operations. Work Details The contractor is required to procure and install specified aftermarket automotive accessories on one Government-provided non-tactical vehicle (NTV). All installations must not interfere with the vehicle's operation or maneuverability, and all electrical connections must comply with established safety standards. The contractor's facility must be located within a 200-mile radius of Fort Irwin, California, as the vehicle will not be driven more than this distance for installation. The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required to perform the services as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Additionally, if proposing alternative products to those specified, the contractor must provide technical data to demonstrate equivalency. Period of Performance From June 1, 2026 to June 1, 2027 Place of Performance Contractor's facility within a 200-mile radius of Fort Irwin, California. Bidder Requirements The contractor must have the capability to perform non-personal services as outlined in the PWS. They should also be able to provide technical data for any alternative products proposed that are not brand name items specified.
