Machining Equipment and Delivery for CT Technical School

Background

The State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is issuing this Solicitation to procure machining equipment for the Technical Education Center (TEC) to meet the needs of students at its locations in Connecticut. The goal is to furnish, deliver, rig, install, and place into full operational service specific machining equipment as part of the state's educational mission.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide the following equipment: - Three (3) Trak K3 KMX Knee Mills - Two (2) HAAS Mini Mills - One (1) HAAS ST-10Y Turning Center. The contractor is responsible for delivery terms that are Free On Board Destination and must ensure that all equipment meets or exceeds federal energy conservation standards.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from May 29, 2026, to June 23, 2026.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at various locations in Connecticut as specified by the Technical Education Center.

Bidder Requirements

All vendors can respond to this bid. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned. However, bidders must comply with the State of Connecticut Digital Accessibility Policy and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Additionally, bidders must provide documentation regarding their status as a micro-business or veteran-owned micro-business if applicable.
