Tirrell Building Cafeteria Upgrade: Cafeteria Furniture

Background

The Norwich Free Academy is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Cafeteria Upgrade Project, which aims to enhance the cafeteria facilities by providing new furniture. The goal of this contract is to ensure the timely delivery, assembly, and installation of the specified cafeteria furniture to improve the dining experience for students and staff.

Work Details

The awarded vendor will be responsible for the delivery, assembly, and installation of cafeteria furniture as detailed in Exhibit B. All furniture deliveries must occur on August 20, 2026, unless prior written approval is obtained from Norwich Free Academy (NFA). The installation locations are specified in Exhibit B; however, if construction conditions hinder installation in these areas, NFA will designate alternative locations within the cafeteria. Vendors are not entitled to compensation for any storage of materials before the scheduled delivery date, and early deliveries are prohibited without written authorization. Vendors must transport oversized items down one flight of stairs if necessary and are required to remove all packaging and debris upon completion of the installation.

Period of Performance

The contract period begins with the delivery on August 20, 2026.
