The City of Kennewick is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Consultants registered in the State of Washington to provide Professional Engineering Services for the Island View to Vista Field Transportation Network project. The primary work under this contract includes: Completion of the final design for a shared-use pathway and pedestrian bridge Preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates (P&E) to ensure readiness for potential advertisement by Winter 2028 Easement acquisition necessary to accommodate the proposed improvements, expected to be completed before the end of December 2028, with the possibility of a one-year extension Optional inclusion of Construction Engineering professional services as part of the scope of work This solicitation is issued by the City of Kennewick Public Works Department. The project aims to enhance the transportation network between Island View and Vista Field, supporting improved pedestrian and shared-use connectivity within the city. Contract requirements include that all Consultants must be registered in the State of Washington. The selected Consultant will be responsible for delivering final design documents and supporting the City in acquiring necessary easements. Construction is anticipated to begin in Summer 2029, contingent on funding availability.
