Building Signage - Pin Letters Building Exterior

Background

This solicitation is issued by the College of Charleston for the Campus Building Signage Project. The goal of the contract is to provide pin-mounted letters for various buildings on campus, enhancing exterior signage to improve visibility and accessibility.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing and installing pin-mounted letters at multiple locations on campus. Specific locations include: 1) Willard A. Silcox Health Sciences Center, 2) School of Education, 3) School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, 4) Lightsey Center, 5) E. F. Mitchell Johnson Campus Recreation Center, 6) Glenn McConnell Residence Hall #1, 7) Glenn McConnell Residence Hall #2, 8) Coming Street at Green Way. Each installation will require a lift for measurements and installation provided by the vendor. Additionally, a permit fee is required. Within seven business days of receiving a purchase order, the contractor must complete a site survey with the College of Charleston project manager to assess existing signs that need removal and verify new sign mounting locations.

Period of Performance

The contract period is expected to commence upon award and completion of site surveys within seven business days after receiving a purchase order.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at various locations on the College of Charleston campus in Charleston, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must register as a vendor on the College's Procurement Platform to view the solicitation details. They are required to acknowledge understanding of all contents in issued addenda associated with this solicitation. If subcontracting more than 10% of the work, bidders must identify subcontractors and provide their details.
