Background The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Kenneling and Veterinary Services. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary support for the Canine Enforcement Program, ensuring that canines are properly housed and cared for within a specified radius of the Charleston Area Port. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, and facilities necessary for kenneling and veterinary services on an as-needed basis. Key requirements include: 1. All kenneled canines must be accessible 24/7, retrievable within 10 minutes by a CBP Canine Enforcement Officer (CEO). 2. Only authorized kennel personnel may access CBP canines; public access is strictly prohibited. 3. Information regarding the identity and location of CBP canines must not be disclosed to anyone outside of authorized personnel. 4. The kennel facility must maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure the safety and health of the canines. 5.
