Lea County Board of County Commission, through its Public Works Department, is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide Reflectorized High-Durable Traffic Striping. The purpose of this contract is to establish a Price Agreement for the provision of traffic striping services, which includes materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the execution of the work. The contract aims to enhance road safety and visibility through high-quality traffic markings.
The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing Reflectorized High-Durable Traffic Striping as per the specifications outlined in the solicitation. Key details include: - Placement of 2,000,000 linear feet (L.F.) of reflectorized high-durable acrylic traffic paint markings at 22 to 25 mils wet film thickness for Lea County, including 4-inch stripe in white and yellow using specified emulsion types (M-TPCWBACRHB ROHM & HAAS HD-21 type II or DOW DT 400 NA). - Placement of 5,000 L.F. of similar markings but with a 6-inch stripe. - Additional tasks include obliteration of existing pavement markings, mobilization for emergency striping work, layout of passing/no-passing zones, and sweeping services. - All work must comply with New Mexico State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway and Bridge Construction.
