Background

The County of Orange, through its OC Waste & Recycling (OCWR) department, seeks to establish a Qualified Vendor List for Architect/Engineer (A-E) Task Order Contracts specifically for Landfill Services. This initiative aims to supplement professional services to meet workload demands and project scheduling commitments. The A-E services include design and engineering tasks necessary for various projects related to landfill operations. The contract does not guarantee a specific amount of work but allows the County to engage A-E firms on an as-needed basis.

Work Details

The A-E will provide professional services as outlined in the Scope of Work (Attachment A), which includes: 1. Project/Services performance as specified in Attachment A, ensuring thorough review for completeness and accuracy before submission to the County. 2. Adherence to design criteria and standards set by the Director of OC Waste & Recycling. 3. Preparation of a progress work schedule within five working days of receiving assignments from the County, including delineation of commencement and completion dates. 4. Regular meetings with County staff at least every four weeks to review progress and resolve issues. 5. Completion of all work within the time frame indicated in Attachment A, with provisions for delays beyond the control of A-E.

Period of Performance

The contract term is three years, commencing from TBD through TBD.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within Orange County, California.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered with the State of California for specialized A-E services. Compliance with California Labor Code regarding employment eligibility verification is required.
