Stormwater System Repair Projects at 2 Locations

Background

The City of Tucker, Georgia, is seeking bids for stormwater system repairs at two locations as part of their ongoing efforts to maintain and improve municipal infrastructure. The goal of this contract is to address specific issues within the stormwater system to ensure effective drainage and compliance with local regulations.

Work Details

The work required under this contract includes: 1. Furnishing materials, qualified labor, equipment, traffic control, erosion control, and site restoration at each location as described in the accompanying construction plans. 2. Specific tasks include: a. At 1660 East Gate Drive: - Cleaning 160 linear feet of 60” diameter CMP (Corrugated Metal Pipe) including specialty cleaning of a 40 linear foot segment. - Internal point repair of existing pipe invert prior to pipe lining (40 linear foot allowance). - Replacement of downstream headwall lid per GDOT Std. 1125. - Spin cast in place pipe lining for the 160 linear foot segment. - Bypass pumping of base flow and grouting pipe connections at junction box structures. - Backfilling sinkholes along the segment and cleaning the work area. b. At 3855 Allsborough Drive: - Specialty cleaning and internal point repair of existing pipe invert for two barrels of 50 linear feet of 72” diameter CMP. - Spin cast in place pipe lining for the segments under Allsborough Drive, grouting connections at junction box structures, backfilling sinkholes, and cleaning the work area.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at two locations in Tucker, Georgia: 1660 East Gate Drive and 3855 Allsborough Drive.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and submit a Performance Bond upon award equal to 100% of the total contract price. Contractors must also procure and maintain insurance policies including Commercial General Liability coverage with limits not less than $3,000,000 per occurrence, Workers Compensation Insurance with limits not less than $1,000,000, and Commercial automobile liability insurance with limits not less than $1,000,000.
